This series uses illustrations from "Moominpappa Goes to the Sea" and "November in Moominvalley."

Big changes come in Moominpappa's Sea Adventure, when the Moomin family moves to a small island with a lighthouse.
The Moomin family does not appear at all in the sequel, "Moominvalley in November."
The Moomin family moved to an island in the previous film. The film depicts the strange communal life of people waiting for the return of the absent Moomin family.
Around the time these two works were created, Tove Jansson experienced the death of her mother, Signe, who continued to have a great influence on her.
The story's warm words and illustrations are filled with deep sadness and longing for one's mother.
Her intricate line drawings of the sea, wind, light and shadow, imbued with her strong feelings, move the hearts of those who see them.

There is a stainless steel strainer on the inside, which is very useful when making tea.
