<Alphabet Collection>
This collection was born from a collaboration between Moomin Characters and various organizations in an initiative called "Reading, Writing and the Moomins" to spread the joy of reading and writing to all generations.
The first four letters, "L," "O," "V," and "E," were chosen as letters that would allow children to easily and enjoyably begin the world of the alphabet with Moomin.
This collection makes collecting mugs fun, and whether you buy it as a set or as a single mug, it makes a great gift for a special occasion such as a keepsake or birthday.
The alphabet illustrations are based on Tove Jansson's hand-drawn initials and lettering for Moominpappa's Memoirs and the Moominvalley map.
The alphabet illustration is also featured on the back stamp, and the character illustration on the back of the mug is also from the Moomin series.
The scenes were selected from "Long Way to Moominvalley" (L), "The Day the Comet Struck" (O), "Professor Knockout of the Fig Bush" (V), and "Terrible Winter" (E).
