<Moomin Artist Collaboration Series>
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the publication of the first Moomin novel, a collaborative project has been launched with two artists, Rika Kawahigashi and Sawako Hoshi.
This project began with each of them choosing a Moomin novel.
Rika Kawahigashi chose "The Moomins" and Sawako Hoshi chose "The Comet in Moomin Valley," and they created designs from illustrations from their respective novels.

"Early Summer" and "Late Summer" are depicted in "The Moomins", published in 1948.
It expresses the magical and fun world of Moomin Valley, set in beautiful nature that changes with the seasons.
The beginning of summer, when all living things are overflowing with vitality,
This series focuses on the loneliness of the end of summer, which brings with it signs of autumn on the horizon.
Rika Kawahigashi is a textile and interior designer with roots in Japan and Denmark.
She has experience living in many countries and cultures, including Scandinavia, and has utilized this experience in a wide range of designs, from domestic and international interior and textile brands to the medical and welfare fields, in creating products and spaces that emphasize color, materials, and the natural atmosphere.
