A husband and wife duo, Kazutoshi Higashi and Kaoru, are active in the art world. In addition to producing their own artwork, they also provide design services and display coordination for companies, and run the shop "kochi," which makes use of the creators' perspectives.
We find healing in the small, extraordinary things in our everyday lives and propose creating products that fit comfortably into everyday life.

This is a wooden tape cutter for masking tape and small rolls of cellophane tape.
By making the tape shaft flat rather than round, it has a simple yet unique silhouette.
By replacing the included shaft, you can use both 25mm and 30mm diameter tapes.
The simple design makes use of the unique texture of wood, making this stationery suitable for use as interior decoration.
