The illustration is based on the story "Moominvalley Becomes a Jungle" from the 1956 Moomin comics by Tove Jansson.
This will be the final film in the series, with the Moomins trying out various activities during their summer holidays.
The final piece in the series, which began in 2018 and depicts the Moomins having an active summer vacation, is an illustrated design of the Moomin family having a garden party together with a tiger and a rhinoceros who have escaped from the zoo.
During a sweltering summer, Little My happened to find "tropical seeds" in the river, and Moominmamma sowed them here and there, turning Moomin Valley into a jungle overnight with tropical plants. In an attempt to make it look more like a jungle, the mischievous Stinky released a wild tiger from the zoo, and the Moomins were almost attacked by it, but the Moomins saved the drowning tiger and became friends with it. In this scene, the unexpected friends are enjoying a garden party together.
