Special design using limited art

• This notebook has a special design, using precious artwork from three posters created in the 1950s for the department store NK in Stockholm, Sweden.

• Cover: "The Secret Island" The full moon is rising over the forest lake. This is the secret island where Moomintroll and his friends go every night to have a feast. The small creatures gaze intently at the gentle light and the delicious smell of Snufkin's freshly baked pancakes. An owl is hooting above the tent, and in the grass there is a cake made by Sister Mymble and Little My. Deep in the forest, someone is playing the lute.

• Front endpaper: "Carousel Party" It 's a celebration day, and everyone is heading to the merry-go-round. We see the cat saying hello to the Moomintrolls, and the prince crossing the bridge to meet the princess. Moominpappa sits under a tree reading the Sunday paper, and a mother deer with her fawn appears from the forest. It depicts a scene in which a boy is dreaming and experiencing a mysterious fairy tale.

• Back endpaper: "Rainbow House" The Moomins are building a treehouse on a chestnut tree. It's an adventurous place, near a bridge over a cliff, where you can see a volcano and forests spewing fire into the summer sky. A hot air balloon is heading straight for the sun, and birds are flying. Miss Mymble is knitting socks, and Snufkin is dreaming of an adventure beyond the rainbow. Sniff is clumsy again and knocks over the whole box of nails.

• You can of course write down your schedule, write a diary, decorate it with masking tape and stickers, stick tickets and photos on it...how you use it is up to you. You can enjoy it freely according to your lifestyle and style.
